So I decided to bite the bullet and buy some new trainers. This could be for one of many reasons. 1) currently out of action so nothing better to do. 2) trying to be optimistic and raise my spirits. 3) to give me motivation to get my ankle sorted tho more likely I’ll go for a run in them now and hurt myself more. But in reality 4) because I have a theory that my old shoes could be the cause or some of the cause of my injury.
My old shoes, not pegasus 25s as I originally naively thought but are Nike structure 13s. It is written clearly on the Tongue too but i just didn’t look in the 9 months I’ve had them. This is of interest because I wanted a similar pair and went for the pegasus 28s and bought online as I had experience wearing that make/ type of shoe. Ive only realised this mistake now when I put them side by side! Doh!!
Anyway, I’m cautiously optimistic about them as they are neutral tho the old ones are for stability. The sole is similar and they feel light weight so I have positive thoughts in that they will work out OK!
I’m off to try them out!
(p.s I’m saying this while im currently icing my ankle which actually feels OK! )
